Throughout my career I have had the ability to develop some amazing concepts. The Tardis Adventure is a trackless immersive experience that brings guests into the dynamic and vast universe of Dr. Who. Together with my team we developed the initial concept, and visuals as well as a preliminary scope document and pendant light fixture design.

Once our initial concept was decided on we started to develop concept drawings and ideas. Three members of our team drew up the final colorized sketches which I took into Photoshop and Adobe Premier to use in video and pre-visualization content.
I created this video as a part of a larger concept pitch to our art direction team. It consists of the above sketches and our initial story line and floor plan.
Working with two other members of the group we each developed a model for a tardis pendant light fixture. This fixture would be a multi component unit housing both a traditional light build as well as a bottom mounted projector. My initial concept was to create “Tardis-esque” fixtures out of copper plated metal. I developed this initial model in Fusion 360. We later decided that cast resin would be a better material as it can be translucent while maintaining color to let more light through. It can also be cast as one piece and assembled rather easily. As a pendant light the fixture also has the ability to spin along its axis and flash much like the real tardis moving through space and time.
